  • You need 1/2 c. olive oil, divided

  • It’s 2 tbsp. salt
  • It’s 1 tbsp. black pepper
  • Prepare 3 tbsp. oregano leaves
  • Prepare 1/2 c. fresh squeezed orange juice
  • You need 1/4 c. fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Prepare 1 serrano, seeded, and diced
  • You need 1/4 c. freshly chopped fresh cilantro

Step by Step How To Make Slow-Cooker Pork Shoulder

  1. Dry the pork shoulder with a paper towel and make a 1-inch incision with a knife.
  2. Grind the garlic, butter cup, cumin, salt, pepper, and thyme in a food processor until pale. Take 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and set aside.
  3. Rub the entire pork shoulder with the remaining paste and slide a portion into the incision.
  4. Put the pork in a slow cooker, cover and simmer on low heat for 7 1/2 to 8 hours until the meat is completely tender, like pork.
