Marry Me Chicken Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Generously season each chicken breast on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. When it is hot, add the chicken to the pan. Saute for 3-4 minutes, then turn and brown on the other side for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove the fried chicken from the pan and set aside. Add the garlic to the pan and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes until it becomes fragrant.
  4. Stir in the broth and cream, then slowly add the grated Parmesan, dried tomatoes, oregano and chilli flakes.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the chicken breast to the pan. Quickly flip the chicken over once or twice to coat it in the sauce, then place the entire pan in the oven.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Remove the chicken from the pan and arrange with the desired sides. Pour a tablespoon of extra sauce from the pan over the chicken, garnish with chiffon basil and serve immediately.
