INGREDIENTS Of Honey Soy Chicken Thighs:

  • You need 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • You need 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • It’s 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • Prepare 6 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (see tip)
  • Prepare 5 tablespoons mild honey, such as clover, acacia or orange blossom
  • You need 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • You need Kosher salt and black pepper
  • Prepare 8 small bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 3 pounds)
  • You need Lemon wedges, for serving

Honey Soy Chicken Thighs Instructions:

  1. Warm the oven to 425 degrees. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a small stew pan with low heat. Add garlic and ginger and simmer occasionally for 3 minutes until tender. Add soy sauce and honey, stir occasionally and simmer for about 10 minutes until it becomes a little pepper. (At this stage, the syrup mixture may burn if it is overripe, so you need to cook it carefully.) Turn off the heat and stir the butter.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread aluminum foil on a striped baking sheet and add salt and pepper to the whole chicken to make the liver. Add half the glaze and the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil, mix and coat the chicken. Place on a uniform layer with the skin on top and bake for 15 minutes until brown. Brush the whole chicken with the remaining glaze 2 tablespoons. Fry for about 10 minutes until golden brown and ripen to the middle.
  4. Apply the remaining glaze on the chicken and add a piece of lemon.
