Ham and cheese sliders

Ham and Cheese Sliders – Grilled juicy ham and Swiss delicacies wrapped in a soft Hawaiian roll, brushed with buttered Dijon, onion and poppy! Fast, easy, and party love!

The family sucked when creating this slider for the first time. I like the days when there are matches, but it’s also great for a comfortable weekend supper or a family movie / game supper.

If your child is old enough to eat snacks, I think they will be very interesting as snacks too! It’s as good as a combination of ham, cheese and Hawaiian rolls, but the buttery herb topping that actually puts these sliders on top.

Ingredients Of Ham and cheese sliders

  • Prepare One 12-count package Hawaiian sweet rolls, sliced in half (see directions for more details)
  • You need 3/4 pound cooked deli ham, thinly sliced
  • You need 3/4 pound Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
  • Prepare 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • Prepare 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • It’s 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • You need 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • Prepare 2 teaspoons Worcesteshire sauce
  • It’s 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • It’s 1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste

Step by Step How to Make Ham and cheese sliders

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Place aluminum foil on a 9×9 “or 9×13” fan, spray it with cooking spray, and set it aside.
  2. Using a large serrated knife, cut the roll in half to create a “slab” at the top and a “slab” at the bottom. Do not peel the rolls and slice them separately. Because you want to stay connected.
  3. Put the “slab” at the bottom of the roll into the prepared pan.
  4. Evenly spread about half of the ham on the roll.
  5. Evenly layer the cheese.
  6. Evenly layer the remaining ham.
  7. Put the top ‘slab’ of rolls; set aside.
  8. Put butter in a medium-sized microwave oven and melt on high heat for about 1 minute.
  9. Add the mustard, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and whisk to combine.
  10. Slowly pour the butter mixture evenly into the roll. Use a spatula to expand the mixture upwards. Part of the mixture is clustered on a role base.
  11. Cover with aluminum foil and leave the roll at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
  12. Cover and bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  13. Uncover and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until as done as desired. The baking time depends on the size of the fan used, the climate and the difference in the oven. Be careful not to ride as both the oven and the materials are different.
  14. Individual slider slices are served instantly. The sliders are warm and fresh.
